Hollow half sphere

A smooth dome that sits flat on the table on its open side. The wall is thin, so it stays light for its size. Change the outer diameter to make a bigger or smaller bowl, or thicken the wall if you want it sturdier.

Good to know

  • The inside of the dome curves in at the top and needs tree supports. Flipping it upside down would leave only a thin ring touching the bed, so I kept it dome-up.
