This tool is one small corner of Loftsmith
Loftsmith is where you describe a part in plain words and get a design checked for your printer: brackets, cases, holders, whatever you need to fit a real thing. No CAD to learn.
Questions
Where do I measure?
Inside the drawer: wall to wall for the width, front to back for the depth, and from the bottom to the top edge for the height. Measure at the narrowest spot if the sides aren't straight.
Will it fit my drawer?
The organizer is made 2 mm narrower than you measured (1 mm on each side) and 3 mm lower, so it should drop in and the drawer should still close. We haven't test-printed this yet, so print a small drawer first if you want to be sure.
What if my drawer is bigger than my printer?
It splits into pieces that fit your printer, following your walls wherever it can, and small clips hold the pieces together in the drawer.
Do I need Gridfinity or any other system?
No. It's cut to your exact drawer, with nothing else to buy or learn.
Who made this?
Loftsmith, a design tool for 3D printing. You describe a part in plain words, and Loftsmith designs it and checks it for your printer. This organizer maker is a free corner of it.
