Emmy's dragon & blossom screw-on lens cap
Gives your lens a cap that's clearly yours, so it never gets mixed up on a shared camera bag. A raised pink dragon, blossom branch and name sit on the black top, and the ribbed rim helps you get a grip. Change the thread size to fit your lens.

How to print it
Parts
- cap · PLA
Print face down so the artwork is on the bed.
- artwork · PLA
Pink layer, printed inside the cap with a colour change.
Print settings
- Layer height
- 0.12 mm for crisp artwork (0.16 is fine)
- Walls
- 3
- Infill
- 15%
- Supports
- None needed; the chamfered flange and clip catch print at about 45° or less. Add a brim if the clips lift.
- Notes
- Pink on filament 2, plum on filament 1.
Assembly
- Press the cap straight onto the lens front. The clip legs flex in and the catch bumps snap behind the lens lip.
- Pull it straight off to remove.
Good to know
- I haven't tested the fit on your lens. If it is loose or tight, change the Clip catch bump slider (0.2 mm now) or Fit diameter, and print a quick test.
- The report still lists some small thin ledges near the dragon's spines and about 1 g of possible support on the 45° flange and catch. Check the first print and add a brim or tree support if needed.
- The name strokes are about 0.7 mm wide, so print at 0.12–0.16 mm layers and check the lettering.
