HUB75 LED matrix frame and pixel grid, 64x32, P2 to P4
Gives a bare HUB75 LED panel a proper frame, so it can stand on a shelf or desk instead of dangling from its wires. A fine grid sits over the LEDs to keep each pixel crisp, and two little feet hold it upright. Set the LED pitch and the pixel count to match your panel.

How to print it
Parts
- bezel · PLA (ivory or white) · Face down on the bed
176.2 × 96.2 × 21.4 mm at the defaults, ~38 g, ~55 min, no supports. PLA because the frame is a stiff indoor part that carries no real load. Above the Largest piece slider it splits into bezel-1, bezel-2 with dowel holes.
- grid · PLA (black) · Face down on the bed, rim up
162.8 × 82.8 × 8.0 mm, ~53 g, ~73 min, no supports. Black keeps light inside each cell. Walls taper from 1.0 mm at the face to 0.85 mm at the LEDs. Splits along a wall line into grid-1, grid-2 when it is larger than the bed limit. With the printed white face option the first 3 layers (0.6 mm) are wh
- clamp-1 · PLA (black) · Flat
Turn button, 11.9 × 6 × 3 mm, about 5 min.
- clamp-2 · PLA (black) · Flat
Turn button, same shape as clamp-1.
- clamp-3 · PLA (black) · Flat
Turn button, same shape as clamp-1.
- clamp-4 · PLA (black) · Flat
Turn button, same shape as clamp-1.
- foot ×2 · PLA (ivory or white) · On its side
Cradle foot holding the frame at a 10 degree lean, ~3 g and ~10 min each. Leave them out with the Desk stand feet toggle.

- About 99 g and 2 h 48 min for everything at the defaults (2 walls, 15% infill), or about 114 g and 3 h 14 min with 3 walls. Turn on thin-wall detection in the slicer so the 0.85 to 1.0 mm grid walls print as solid lines. The bezel and grid print face down and the feet print on their sides. The print
Hardware
- 4 × M3 x 12 pan-head screw · One per turn button. Each screw cuts its own thread into a 2.6 mm pilot hole in the bezel wall. Split frames use 8 clamps and 8 screws.
- Diffuser sheet, 0.75 mm (acrylic, polycarbonate or tracing film) · Cut to 162.8 × 82.8 mm for the default 64x32 P2.5 panel. The size follows the pocket, so check the size again if you change the sliders. Skip it if you choose the printed white face.
- 4 × 1.75 mm filament offcuts as dowels · Only when the bezel is split (P4 or a small bed limit): 4 per seam, glued in.
- HUB75 RGB LED panel with its controller and 5 V supply · Not printed. Defaults: 64x32 at 2.5 mm pitch, 160 × 80 mm, 14 mm from the LED tops to the back.
Assembly
- Print the bezel and the two feet in a light PLA, and the grid and the four turn buttons in black PLA.
- If your settings split the frame, glue the bezel halves together with 1.75 mm filament dowels in the top and bottom walls. Lay the grid pieces side by side; the bezel pocket holds them in line.
- Lay the bezel face down. If you use a sheet, drop the cut diffuser sheet into the pocket against the front lip.
- Drop the grid in, face first, with its 3 mm rim pointing back.
- Lower the panel in with the LEDs facing the grid, so the PCB edge sits inside the grid rim. The connectors stay reachable at the open back.
- Screw a turn button onto each of the four pilot holes in the back rim with an M3 x 12 screw, leaving it loose enough to turn. Swing each button 90 degrees over the panel's back edge, then snug the screws.
- Stand the frame in the two feet and plug the controller and 5 V power into the panel at the back. To take the panel out, lift the frame off the feet, swing the buttons back along the rim and lift the panel out.
Good to know
- Checked in the Loftsmith engine only. It has not been printed or tested with a real panel, so print the grid and check it against your panel before you print the bezel.
- Panel thickness and outline vary between makers. Measure from the LED tops to the back of the plastic frame and set the Panel thickness slider. The 14 mm default is an estimate. If the clamps don't press the panel firmly, add a thin foam strip under them.
- The grid walls rest on the LED faces. Light bleed between cells and how even the diffusion looks have not been tested.
- The clamp screws thread straight into plastic. Don't overtighten them, and expect the threads to wear if you remove the panel often.
- PLA softens at about 55 °C. If your panel runs hot at full white brightness, print the bezel and grid in PETG.
- The back is open. There is no controller bay or cable routing; the controller plugs into the panel's own connectors. 5 V panels only.
- Split frames show a 1.75 mm seam line in the grid and a glued seam across the bezel. The stand check assumes a panel weighs about 1.3 g per square cm. There is no wall-mount hanger; turning the feet off gives the bare frame.
