Cooler cup holder for tie-down slots, 53-95 mm drinks
Gives your drink a spot on the side of the cooler, so it stays off the sand and out of the grass. A hook slips into the tie-down slot and the bar sits under the lid, with a ribbed cup that holds the can. Change the drink size to fit your own bottle.

How to print it
Parts
- hook · PETG · On its side, profile flat on the bed (the script's print rotation), so the layers run around the bend and along the leg
About 14 g, 24 min at 2 walls/15%. Print it first: it doubles as the fit test for your slot.
- cup · PETG · Upright, floor down; the peg pocket opens at the bed
About 38 g, 58 min at 2 walls/15% for a 66 mm drink. Print another cup at a different Drink diameter to swap drinks on the same hook.
Print settings
- Layer height
- 0.2 mm
- Walls
- 2 (page default); 3 recommended for the hook
- Infill
- 15%
- Supports
- None
- Notes
- Default build: about 54 g and 1 h 25 min for both parts at 2 walls/15%. At 3 walls/15% both parts take about 73 g and 1 h 55 min. PETG because a cooler in the sun gets hotter than PLA tolerates; ASA also works if you have an enclosure.
Assembly
- Measure the slot with calipers: its width along the cooler, its depth front to back, and the thickness of the rim wall between the slot and the outside. Set the three Cooler slot sliders.
- Print the hook first and drop it into the slot: the tongue goes down the slot and the leg hangs outside the rim wall. If it is tight or sloppy, change Hook clearance per side and reprint the hook.
- Close the lid with the hook fitted. If it touches, lower Top bar thickness (the strength check shows the new rating).
- Set Drink diameter for your can or tumbler, print the cup and lower it onto the peg at the bottom of the hook.
- To remove, lift the whole holder straight up out of the slot. The cup lifts off the peg for rinsing.
Good to know
- The slot sizes are starting estimates, not measurements of any particular cooler; measure yours and print the hook alone as a fit test before the cup.
- The top bar sits 4 to 7 mm above the slot top (6 mm by default). If your lid closes right over the slot, check it still seals with the hook fitted.
- The strength rating is an engine estimate for PETG with a 2x allowance for setting a drink down hard; 2.19 kg at the defaults, about 1 kg at the thinnest top bar or narrowest slot. It assumes the rim under the slot is at least 8 mm tall. It has not been load tested.
- If you combine the narrowest slot, the thinnest top bar and the 95 mm cup, the strength check fails and says so; thicken the top bar for big tumblers.
- The cup is a straight 54 mm deep bore; strongly tapered tumblers sit by their base diameter, so set Drink diameter to the base.
