Round-bar anti-tip wall hook
Gives a round bar a place to hang from the wall instead of leaning where it can tip. The hook curls up and around the bar and fastens to the wall with two screw holes. Change the bar diameter and the gap to the wall to match your own setup.

How to print it
Parts
- wall-hook ×2 · PLA · Lying on its side (chamfered face down), so the layers run around the bend
Mount one near each end of the shelf's top rail
Print settings
- Layer height
- 0.2 mm
- Walls
- 4
- Infill
- 20%
- Supports
- none
- Notes
- Extra walls make the bend and the screw holes stronger
Hardware
- 4 × 4 mm countersunk wood screws, 40-50 mm, with wall anchors that suit your wall
- 2 × 3.5 mm wood screw, ~16 mm (optional, locks the lip to a wooden rail)
Assembly
- Push the shelf back into its final spot against the wall.
- Hold a hook so it hangs over the top rail with its back flat on the wall, and mark the two screw holes.
- Drill, fit the wall anchors and screw the hook on from the front. Do the same with the second hook at the other end.
- Optional: drive a small screw through the lip hole into the rail.
Good to know
- I guessed the rail thickness (25 mm) and the wall gap (10 mm). Measure your shelf and set the Rail thickness and Wall gap sliders before you print.
- The strength numbers are estimates. Give the shelf a firm tug once it's mounted, and screw into studs or proper anchors, not bare drywall.
