Safari snorkel grille with Chev badge

Gives the end of a snorkel a proper louvred face with a bowtie badge in the middle, so the opening doesn't sit bare. A shallow plug on the back drops into the opening, and the slats are angled to shed the weather. Change the opening width and height to match yours.

Good to know

  • The opening size is my estimate. Print the grille, check the push fit, then adjust Opening width, Opening height and Fit clearance on Adjust.
  • The report still flags a few thin ledges at the bowtie edge and a small bezel overhang. They are cosmetic, and your slicer may add a little support.
  • PLA softens around 55 °C, so a car in hot sun can warp it. Use PETG or ASA for lasting use.
  • The Chev bowtie is a trademark. This is fine for your own vehicle but not for selling.
