Desk-edge cable clip

Keeps a charging cable from sliding off the back of your desk. It hooks over the edge like a long clip and a small round loop at the end holds the cable in place. Change the desk thickness and the cable size to fit your own setup.

Notes
Printing it on its side makes the C-bend strong.

Assembly

  1. Push the clip straight onto the desk edge. The jaws spring open a little and grip.
  2. Press the cable into the front cradle until it clicks, or slide it in from one end.

Good to know

  • The clip overlaps the desk in the model on purpose: the jaw tips are 0.5 mm narrower than the desk, and that squeeze is what holds it on.
  • I set it for a 25 mm desk, so measure yours first and set the Desk thickness slider. If the clip feels loose or too tight, change the Grip squeeze slider.
  • The click-in fit and the grip strength haven't been tested in real life. PLA can soften in a hot car or in direct sun.
