Desk-edge 10-cable holder, 40 mm desk

Gets the charger cables off the floor and keeps them from slipping behind the desk. It clamps over the edge of a 40 mm desk, and each cable presses into its own little slot along the lip. Change the desk thickness, cable size or number of slots to match your setup.

Notes
3 walls keep the jaws springy and tough.

Assembly

  1. Push the clip straight onto the desk edge, cradle on the outside.
  2. Press the cable up into the cradle from below until it clicks in.

Good to know

  • In the 3D view the grip bump overlaps the desk a little. That's on purpose: it's the 0.8 mm squeeze that holds the clip in place, and the jaw springs open by that much when you push it on.
  • I guessed your desk is 25 mm thick. Measure it and set the Desk thickness slider before you print.
  • Print one and try it. If the cable is hard to push in, turn down Cable snap-in tightness. If the clip slides around, turn up Grip squeeze.
