Tiger-stripe nameplate – J Fortner
A nameplate for a door, desk or shelf edge, with tiger stripes and a red cross at each end. The name sits raised in white lettering across the middle, easy to read from across a room. Change the name size and stripe count to suit.

How to print it
Parts
- nameplate · PLA · Flat, face up, turned 45° on the diagonal to fit a 220 mm bed
The stripes, text and crosses print inside this part as separate colour regions.
Print settings

- Infill
- 15%
- Supports

- Notes
- Slot 1 orange (plate), slot 2 black (stripes), slot 3 white (text), slot 4 red (crosses). Needs a prime tower and about 11 colour changes, roughly 6 g of purge. If you don't have a multi-colour printer, pause at z = 2.8 mm to swap filaments for each colour.
Good to know
- The build report still lists a few thin-ledge warnings near the letters. They are the raised letters' own walls, not defects in the plate.
- The 9-inch plate only fits your 220 mm bed turned 45°, so check the slicer keeps it that way.
- I haven't test-printed the stripes and crosses. If the stripe tips look weak, raise the Stripe height slider on Adjust.
